From 2 August 2021 school attendance is compulsory.  Hybrid online learning will continue only for those children in isolation from a Covid positive contact or in quarantine following a Covid positive test.  The following protocols remain in place:  Masks must be worn at all times and covid-19 protocols will be strictly adhered to. For your own protection and ours only PPS staff and learners will be allowed onto the premises, other than by appointment. Please contact the school office with all queries. Please see the starting and collection times below.  No afternoon or extramural activities will be offered at this stage.  For further information please see the notices under the "FORMS AND NOTICES" tab.
Grade 4 - Grade 7 may enter school from 07:15 till 07:30 and must please be collected at 13:45  FRIDAY all Grade 4 - Grade 7 children must please be collected at 13:15.
Grade 3 may enter school from 07:30 till 07:45 and must please be collected at 13:30  FRIDAY all Grade 3 children must please be collected at 13:00.
Grade 0 - Grade 2 may enter school from 07:30 till 07:45 and must please be collected at 13:15  FRIDAY all Grade 0 - Grade 2 children must please be collected at 13:00.

School Uniform

Dress and appearance:

  • Always dress neatly and tidily in the correct school uniform.

  • You may not go home without wearing shoes.

  • You may not go home in your swimming costume.

  • Your clothing should be marked so that it can be returned to you if you misplace it.

  • Hair must be neat and tidy.  Long hair should be neatly tied back.  Hair must be kept out of the eyes.  If hair is braided, it should be tied back neatly.  Hair accessories should be navy blue or dark green.

  • Learners are encouraged not to wear jewellery as these could cause injury. 
  • On certain specified days and birthdays, civvies may be worn.  Outfits should be age/school appropriate.

 

  • Navy blue drimacs may only be worn on rainy days.

 

Learner's Summer Uniform

  • Green golf shirt with PPS logo (short sleeved)

  • Grey school shorts and dark blue divided skirt 

  • Navy blue V-necked pullover

  • Green fleece top with PPS logo

  • Grey or white socks

  • Black leather school shoes

  • P.P.S cap / hat

  

Winter Uniform

  • Green golf shirt with PPS logo (long sleeved)

  • School track suit pants

  • Long grey school pants

  • Dark blue divided skirt
  • Green fleece top with PPS logo

  • Navy blue V-necked pullover

  • Long grey socks, shore white socks or navy/black tights

  • Black leather school shoes

  • School beanie and scarf

  • P.P.S cap / hat

  

Learner's Sports Uniform

  • School PT-shirt with white shorts

  • White socks or blue and white soccer socks

  • Sports takkies

  • P.P.S cap / hat

  • Swimming Costumes: navy, dark green or black swimming trunks or one-piece costume

Tracksuit pants, fleece tops, divided skirts, golf shirts, PPS caps, beanies, scarves and PT-shirts are available from the school office.
